With four corners of amazing attractions, the Irish Loop around the Avalon Peninsula brings you to sights you've never seen, and places you've never been, all within 90 minutes from your home base at The Wilds Resort.
Take a drive to the northeast to visit the capital city of St. John's, then head down to the southeast side to Mistaken Point and stop into all the attractions along the way. Or start your journey towards the southwest and take in Cape St. Mary's Ecological Reserve before heading north to visit communities such as Cupids, Brigus and Clarke's Beach. There are 15 villas located next to the hotel, one or two bedrooms, fully fitted with kitchenettes, propane fireplaces, patios, BBQs, and outdoor campfire pits.
With 5 fairway cottages backing on the golf course , a River Cottage overlooking the salmon river, our Red Cottage, and Executive Cottage, the choice is yours to spend your stay the right way for you.
With two bedrooms, queen bedrooms, and king bedrooms, all recently renovated, there is something for everyone at our wonderful hotel.
Something for everyone awaits
Our restaurant, Meridian 53 is open for breakfast, lunch and supper, 7 days a week May - October and offers seasonal hours, November - April. The lounge with inside and outside seating near the pool is open May - October as is the canteen for quick BBQ takeaway.
There is a heated pool open June - September and the hiking trails are open year-round.
The 18-hole championship golf course opening and closing is dictated by spring and fall weather. The general opening and closing times are late April - early November. You can make tee-times 7 days in advance. Stay and Play packages are available for Sunday - Thursday allowing for earlier tee time confirmation.
