Not much can compete with the serenity and quiet of salmon fishing on the beautiful Salmonier River. Known province-wide, it is an attraction for everyone interested in experiencig the best that nature has to offer, and heading home with some delicious local wild salmon.
Located close to the bird sanctuary, The Wilds boasts some fantastic opportunities for bird watchers to come and enjoy the fauna of the region. We do provide shuttle service to the bird sanctuary, but sometimes it's nice to just kick back on the deck of one of our beautiful villas or cottages and enjoy watching for local wildlife and birds with a cup of coffee in your hand.
Beach volleyball in Newfoundland? Only at The Wilds! Enjoy our sandy volleyball court (though we recommend not trying it in February)! A fantastic way to entertain the kids while you take in a round of our magnificent golf, or maybe a great way to spend some time with the family in a fun and energizing way!

Our walking trails are for more than just walking. Once the snow comes, they make a fantastic path for cross-country skiing, offering a great mix of inclines and level areas. The best part is, at the end of your trail is a phenomenal resort full of hot coffee and delicious food!
